Oral CAD/CAM system usually consists of three parts, namely digital scanning equipment, digital CAD software and digital CAM equipment. The functions of these three parts are equivalent to the eyes, brains and hands of dental technicians, and are respectively used to complete oral three-dimensional data acquisition, denture digital design and denture digital manufacturing. These three parts together constitute the organic group of the oral CAD/CAM system.
