4. Check carefully after staining the restoration
5. Sintering as per the recommended sintering curve
If the restoration does not need to be stained, brush the transparent glaze directly.
Benefits of Dental Glaze Paste:
1. Aesthetics: Dental glaze paste imparts a natural and lifelike appearance to restorations, mimicking the translucency and glossiness of natural teeth. It helps to blend the restoration seamlessly with the patient's existing dentition, resulting in a beautiful and harmonious smile.
2. Protection: The glazed surface created by dental glaze paste acts as a protective barrier, preventing stains, discoloration, and wear on the restoration. It enhances the longevity of the restoration by providing resistance against surface roughness and bacterial adherence.
3. Smooth Texture: Dental glaze paste creates a smooth surface on the restoration, making it more resistant to plaque accumulation and facilitating easier cleaning for the patient. It improves the overall hygiene and maintenance of the dental restoration.
4. Color Stability: Glaze paste plays a crucial role in maintaining the color stability of dental restorations. It protects against fading or discoloration caused by exposure to various factors such as food, beverages, and tobacco.
5. Patient Satisfaction: The meticulous application of dental glaze paste enhances the patient's satisfaction with the final restoration. It helps to achieve a natural-looking result that blends seamlessly with their natural teeth, contributing to an improved self-confidence and overall satisfaction with their smile.
